General Fishing News
Fishing still going strong. You don't want to miss the 2009 season.
Walleyes
showing up on humps,river channel edges and near some bogs.
Action seems to be picking up on crawlers
Muskellunge
Musky have been very active lately. We have had a 47" and a 47 1/2" caught in the last week.
Northern Pike
A lot of small ones with a few bigger ones being caught along weed edges.
Crappies
Being caught on cribs, brush and just about any piece of cover.
Pan fish
Bluegill and perch fishing is outstanding. They are on cribs and brush and night crawlers are working great.
Bass
Smallmouth and largemouth action are both very good. Many 3 and 4 lb fish being caught. Sign up for ou Mega Bass Shoot out and come see what the Chippewa Flowage Bass fishing is all about.
